Prime minister Narendra modi has been named the ninth most powerful person in the world by Forbes.
The annual list of 'WORLD MOST POWERFUL PEOPLE' was topped by Russian president. Vladimir putin, followed by German chancellor Angela merkel.
Hugely dominated by heads of states ,the list also featured US president Barack Obama (3rd) and Chinese premier xi Jinping (5th).
