Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), one of the leading Centres of ISRO is looking for Graduate Apprentices for the training year 2015-16 under the Apprentices Act, 1961, in the following designated disciplines. Name of the posts Aeronautical/Aerospace Engg. Chemical Engg. Civil Engg. Computer Science/Engg. Electrical Engg. Electronics Engg. Mechanical Engg. Metallurgy_ Production Engg. Library & Information Science The duration of training will be one year from the date of joining and the stipend is Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) per month. Interested candidates may visit VSSC's pavilion during the Centralized Walk-in-Interview arranged by Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT), Chennai, as per the following schedule. Venue Younus College of Engg. & Technology, Pallimukku, Vadakkevila P.O. Kollam Distrist, Kerala Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Metallurgy and Production Engg. Date : 17.10.2015 (Saturday) between 09.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs. Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science and Library & Information Science Date : 31.10.2015 (Saturday) between 09.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs. Candidates who have passed BE/ B.Tech./ B.LISc. in/after April 2013 are eligible to apply. Those who passed degree in 2013 will be eligible for apprenticeship till July 2016 as per the provisions of Apprentices Act and they will not be offered the training position after July 2016. even if they are empanelled/waitlisted.
